The First Circuit decided the Department of Rights and Freedoms of the Administrative Court of Justice, to return the pleading in the lawsuit filed by the lawyer Muhammad Hamid Salem, in which he demands a halt to the implementation and cancellation of all decisions, instructions, regulations and warnings, whether written or verbal, issued by all clubs, hotels, and public and private establishments, which prohibit the entry of women The veiled woman and prevents her descent to the swimming pool by the veil and swimsuit legitimate.

In the lawsuit, Salem emphasized that it is one of the personal rights of the veiled woman to move freely with her veil inside those places and others, and to practice all activities with her veil inside without prejudice to her or detracting from her rights, and Salem demanded to oblige the administrative authority to issue a black list of clubs and hotels that violate this and publish it in the newspapers.

He concluded his lawsuit by calling for the suspension of the implementation and cancellation of the negative management decision to refrain from taking legal measures and all necessary measures to eliminate all forms of discrimination, with the consequences of that, most notably obligating the government to submit a draft law to the House of Representatives regulating this and the establishment of the Commission for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination.

Lawyer Muhammad Hamid Salem said that the oppression and bullying of women was the most prominent motive that motivated him to file a lawsuit banning women from wearing the headscarf and Islamic swimsuits in some hotels and public facilities, considering that this is a kind of extremism, as he put it.
