Scheduled for this Tuesday, the very first easyJet flight connecting Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) to Brest (Finistère) ultimately did not take place.

The connection had to be canceled because of the storms which broke out on the Côte-d'Azur in the afternoon.

The bad weather had an indirect effect on the inaugural flight, explained the low-cost airline, quoted by

An unavailable crew

Delays to previous flights shifted the schedules of flight crew, who eventually reached "their working hour limit", easyJet said.

In addition to the cancellation, the hundred passengers denounced the lack of information.

A delay was initially announced, but only at the boarding gate.

“There was no one from the company, just two airport operators, who simply invited us to manage to find accommodation or a fallback solution to return,” said a Breton traveler.

EasyJet has assured that the costs incurred by its customers will be reimbursed.
