Dubai Roads provides free bus transportation for Expo 2020 visitors

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the provision of 126 public transport buses (Expo Buses) that transport visitors to the Expo 2020 Dubai free of charge from nine sites distributed in various regions of Dubai, in addition to two lines to transport visitors from hotels directly to the site of the event.

It also announced the provision of a bus service to transport exhibition visitors from the parking lots to the exhibition gates, as well as a bus service to transport visitors between the gates inside the exhibition. .

The Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Mattar Muhammad Al Tayer, affirmed the authority’s readiness to provide a unique, easy and fast transportation service for visitors to Expo 2020 from various regions of the Emirate of Dubai and from the rest of the country, through 203 buses dedicated to transporting Expo visitors from the Emirate of Dubai and from various emirates of the country. The buses are of a high level of safety, luxury and quality, as well as their conformity to the European specifications for low carbon emissions "Euro 6", the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, and equipped with comfortable seats and high safety standards.. The Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors stated that the Authority has allocated 57 buses to transport visitors to Expo 2020 from various regions of Dubai, carrying out 455 to 476 trips per day.
