The Dubai Racing Club launched the "Finish Line Awards" competition in the content, photography and video industry, aimed at encouraging young talents and engaging in the racing world, targeting university students in the country, in the period between November 2021 and April next year, in conjunction With the racing season in Dubai and its international track "Meydan".

Member of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Dubai Racing Club, Major General Muhammad Issa Al-Adb, said in a press statement: “We look forward to seeing the creativity of the students during the period from November of this year to April 2022, as horse racing provides a vibrant and full of movement, and space for Wide range of innovation and media creativity.

He continued: “The competition is divided into four categories, each of which contains cash prizes, in addition to tickets to attend the most expensive evening in the world of racing (the Dubai World Cup) in March 2022, as the first category includes the award for the best video of the Meydan racing season, allocated for the time period between the fourth From November to January 6, 2022, the second prize, represented by weekly prizes, will be allocated for the best photo and video during the Dubai World Cup carnival races between January 13 and March 5, 2022, so that the third prize for the best promotional video for the Dubai World Cup goes within a deadline for receiving the videos in Next March 27, and to conclude the awards with the best photo and video during the Dubai World Cup evening, which will be held on March 26.”

Regarding the financial prizes, Al-Adab explained: “The value of the prizes varies according to the category, as a weekly prize is allocated to the weekly Meydan races, ranging between 3000 and 5000 dirhams, for the best video during the racing evenings. Weekly photo, and 7,000 dirhams for the best weekly video.

He continued, "The prize for the promotional video for the Dubai World Cup evening reaches 30,000 dirhams, and the winning video will be shown on the (Super Saturday) evening on the fifth of March 2022, which is the preparatory evening for the Dubai World Cup on the 26th of the same month. The competition will see the winner of the best photo on the evening of the Dubai World Cup, a prize of 8000 dirhams, and the best video, a prize of 12,000 dirhams.
