The employees resumed their duties from the duty stations, in implementation of the decision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, after exercising their positions remotely during the past three months.
The decision to return to work from the offices excluded pregnant groups, people of determination, people with chronic diseases, immune deficiency cases, and those with respiratory symptoms, such as asthma, according to approved medical reports.
In detail, employees of the Dubai Police General Command have begun their work duties in their offices in the police sectors, taking into account the application of preventive and precautionary measures to combat the Corona virus.
The General Administration of Human Resources, in cooperation with the Happiness and Positive Council in the Dubai Police, worked to receive employees and provide guidance and awareness brochures to them about preventive and precautionary measures, and to hand them sterilization materials, gloves, and masks for wearing during work.
The Director of the General Department of Human Resources in Dubai Police, Brigadier Dr. Abdullah Abdullah Murad, said that the employees ’commitment to the force in their work is 100%, according to the directives of the Dubai government in this regard.
He added that Dubai police apply precautionary measures to ensure public safety at work sites, and included an initial diagnosis of the health status of employees before entering work, by measuring temperature and sterilization, and emphasizing wearing masks. It was also keen on sterilizing offices, providing sterilization materials for employees and sensitizing them to maintaining physical distance by leaving a distance of no less than two meters between them. The Dubai Public Prosecution received its employees 100%, after completing its preparations, which included the complete disinfection of offices and facilities in the building, the installation of personnel thermometers, and the provision of masks, gloves, sterilizers, and disinfectants to all. It also urged its employees to adhere to health safety standards via e-mail and screens distributed in the various facilities of the building.
The employees of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai started their work hours from their offices at the Authority’s headquarters in Dubai’s University City.
The authority applied precautionary and preventive measures to protect employees and customers, including sterilization tools and a device to verify the temperatures of building users before entering, and sterilize the building on an ongoing basis in order to provide a healthy and appropriate environment for employees and customers.
