Du enhances data security with new technologies developed by Thales

du, a subsidiary of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, announced yesterday that it has signed a partnership agreement with Thales Group, a global leader in data protection, under which du will obtain a set of new solutions and technologies developed by Thales to support and enhance the operations of the data center. Du is the company's digital defense and security platform and solutions portfolio.

This partnership, which was expected on the sidelines of GITEX Global 2021, which concluded today, comes as part of du's efforts to meet the requirements of companies and government agencies in the UAE, with regard to data security, especially with the increasing frequency of attacks and cyber threats. Data breaches as a result of the shifts in the digital world, as well as the evolution of regulatory compliance requirements.

Du said in a statement that, through the new partnership, it seeks to strengthen and enhance its integrated portfolio of data security solutions to help its customers ensure a high level of security and protection for their data internally and in cloud environments.
