Pasewalk (dpa / mv) - A suspected drug owner enabled the police in Pasewalk to find a drug in his apartment.

During the search on Friday, the emergency services found a “not small amount” of narcotics and accessories, as the police announced.

The 26-year-old had previously appeared at the police station - to complain about an apartment search that had taken place a week earlier.

Even then, narcotics and accessories were found in the apartment, it said.

When the man appeared in the police station, the officials noticed an "intense smell of cannabis".

When asked, the man, who was already known to the police for various drug offenses, “willingly stated” that he had consumed drugs at home.

Without further ado, the officers informed the responsible judge, who ordered a - again - search of the apartment.

The drugs and the accessories were seized, the man now has to answer for violating the Narcotics Act.
