From the perspective of sub-indices, the capital input index began to decline in July 2020, and rebounded in March 2021, recording 34.8, an increase of 3.7 from the previous month; the technology input index recorded a month of 28.8, a decrease of 1.3; the labor input index There has been a slight decline in the past two years, and it recorded 24.3 in March, a decrease of 0.3.

Combined with data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first two months, the main indicators have grown steadily, the macro indicators are in a reasonable range, and the national economy has continued to recover steadily, creating a positive situation where the industry, the new economy, and the national economy have triple benefits.

  According to the report, from September 2020 to March 2021, Beijing, Nanjing, Jinan, Shanghai, and Changsha ranked in the top five in the average ranking of cities in NEI from September 2020 to March 2021.

  NEI, jointly developed by the National Development Research Institute of Peking University, aims to measure the degree of activity of the new economy relative to the traditional economy or the old economy in China's economic transformation.
