Created in 1978 by Joop Donkervoort, this Dutch brand has produced since its inception a sports car inspired by the famous Lotus Seven designed in the late 1950s. Its latest model, the D8 GTO-JD70 R was designed to evolve on circuit.
This extra toy for wealthy amateurs (base price: 198,000 €) has an ABS developed specifically for the track, an integrated fire extinguisher, bucket seats and approved safety harnesses.

Under its hood, we find the 5-cylinder Audi engine (that of the RS3) developing 415 hp.
Donkervoort claims that his new model completed a lap of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit 3 seconds faster than the Swedish supercar Koenigsegg Regera, which develops 1,100 hp and costs more than € 1 million.
