Domestic gasoline and diesel prices fell for six weeks in a row due to the widening range of fuel tax cuts and the decline in international oil prices.

According to the Korea National Oil Corporation, the average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide in the second week of August was 1,833.2 won per liter, down 48.7 won from the previous week.

Gasoline prices fell for the sixth consecutive week due to the widening of the fuel tax cuts implemented last month and the decline in international petroleum products.

As of 5 pm yesterday (12th), the national average gasoline price was 1,805.85 won, close to entering the 1,700 won range.

The average price of diesel this week was 1,927.5 won per liter, down 42.2 won from last week.
