  Wang Wenbin pointed out that the Legal Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China has already introduced the relevant situation.

According to relevant work arrangements, the Legislative Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress carefully studied the legislative proposals put forward by various parties, summarized China’s countermeasures and related work practices, sorted out relevant domestic and foreign situations, solicited the opinions of relevant central and state departments and experts, drafted and formed Draft anti-foreign sanctions law.

  According to Wang Wenbin, according to the legislative procedure, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China reviewed the draft twice in April and June.

The Legal Work Committee solicited opinions from the central and state agencies on the draft.

The Constitution and Law Committee of the National People's Congress revised and improved the draft based on the deliberation and opinions of the Standing Committee.

The anti-foreign sanctions law currently promulgated has fully absorbed the opinions of all parties, reflected the common wishes of the Chinese people, and complied with international law and basic norms of international relations.
