LG U+ has been confirmed as a pay-TV service partner for Disney Plus (Disney+), an online video service (OTT) that Walt Disney Company will launch in Korea in November.



LGU+ announced that it has completed a contract with The Walt Disney Company Korea for IPTV and mobile partnerships.



Disney+, which starts domestic service on November 12, will be linked with LGU+'s IPTV and mobile and LG Hellovision's cable TV services.



LGU+ and LG HelloVision are the only domestic IPTV and cable TV services to offer Disney+, respectively.



Disney+ provides film and TV show content from six key brands owned by The Walt Disney Company: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star.



The subscription fee in Korea was set at 9,900 won per month or 99,000 won per year.
