Discovering the Egypt of the Pharaohs (part 1)

Amélia, 10 years old, is very annoyed… She has to prepare a presentation on ancient Egypt, but she does not really know where to start. Until she met Granny, a strange old lady, an antique dealer by profession, as grumpy as she was greedy. In her shop, Granny hides a magical elevator that allows you to travel through time. Neither one nor two, here she takes Amélia in - 1350 BC, in the Egypt of the Pharaohs. What were the pyramids used for? Why were the Pharaohs considered gods? Who is Osiris? While walking on the banks of the Nile, Amélia discovers the answers to her questions. Better still, she will meet characters who have marked history, such as the famous Nefertiti! But beware, if Amélia and Granny hang out along the way, they risk getting stuck in the Pyramids time…. . 

"Amélia's travels to the heart of History" is a Deezer Originals and Europe 1 Studio co-production, in collaboration with "Bloom, la radio des enfants". In each episode, Amélia and Granny, played by actresses Camille Aguilar and Nathalie Homs, travel through time and offer you an adventure full of twists and turns and discoveries. Together, they explore an exciting and abundant historical period, and tell it through children. In line with the benchmark podcast “At the heart of History”, “Amélia's travels” is specially designed for 7-11 year olds. Over the course of the episodes, Amélia and Granny set off to meet the great characters who have marked history, from Akhenaton to Louis XIV via… the dinosaurs.But will you be able to recognize the voices of the personalities who embody them?
