Disclosure of the cause of death of Saudi bodybuilding champion Fahd Hazazi
The sudden news of the death of the Saudi bodybuilding champion, Fahd Al-Hazzazi, afflicted Saudi and Arab sports fans with sadness after the deceased had published a few hours before his death a "story" through his account on "Snapchat" that would contain scenes from his physical training.
The Saudi Al-Marsad newspaper revealed the cause of Hazazi's death, denying the rumors about his fall while performing exercise inside a gym and the low level of insulin in the blood, or his infection with the Corona virus, and the matter developed until his death.
The newspaper said: "Tweeters circulated an audio message via the (WhatsApp) application confirming that Hazazi's death was due to a severe seizure, as he was permanently suffering from epilepsy."
Hazazi is considered one of the most prominent Arab athletes in bodybuilding, and he previously achieved fourth place in the World Championships, and was crowned champion of Saudi Arabia last year with a weight category of over 90 kg.
