Italian director Marco Bellocchio received the Palme d'Or honor at the 74th Cannes Film Festival. TASS reports. The artist received an award from his colleague Paolo Sorrentino in the main hall of the Lumiere Festival Palace by the decision of the organizing committee "for unique creativity that gave modern cinema strength and freedom." French director Giulia Ducorno also received the Palme d'Or for Titan. In total, 24 films took part in the program of the film festival this year.
