Diplomatic and political moves to consolidate the armistice in Yemen continued by the Presidential Leadership Council and the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and informed sources confirmed that the Chairman of the Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, discussed with his foreign minister and the Yemeni ambassadors who participated in the Riyadh consultations diplomatic efforts during the next phase aimed at Strengthening the armistice and establishing peace.

This coincided with the UN envoy to Yemen holding intensive discussions with a number of Houthi militia leaders in Sana'a and discussing ways to stabilize the truce and turn it into a ground for holding final peace consultations. He also discussed ways to unify the local currency and pay employees' salaries, as well as open crossings and roads between cities.

On the ground, the Houthi militia bombed the city of Ma'rib with two ballistic missiles, and continued its attacks on Yemeni army and tribal sites on the fronts south and west of Ma'rib.

Field sources in Marib stated that Houthi attacks were repelled in the Raghwan district, northwest of Marib, and others on the "Al-Balaq, Wadi Dhanna and Al-Aref" fronts, south of Marib.

The media center of the Yemeni army stated that it had monitored 80 violations of the armistice committed by the militias on the fronts of "Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah, Al-Jawf and Marib."

In Al-Jawf, the Yemeni army and tribes forces thwarted an attempt to advance the Houthis west of Bir Al-Maraziq, east of Al-Hazm district, and in Al-Hodeidah, a child was killed and two others were wounded by the explosion of a mine left by the Houthi militia in Al-Hawk district.
