“Galina Ivanovna Filimonova, MDT actress and for many years a teacher of our workshop, has passed away,” says the message on the page of Yuri Krasovsky's theater workshop on Vkontakte.
It is noted that Filimonova has brought up more than one generation of actors and directors.
“Her dedication to the theater and service to her cause has always been admirable,” the text says.
Filimonova was born in Leningrad in 1944.
She graduated from LGITMiK in 1967, has been an actress at the Maly Drama Theater since 1974.
On October 20, People's Artist of the RSFSR Irina Skobtseva died at the age of 94.
