At 9:00 on August 14th, at the intersection of the southern section of Emei Road and Minjiang East Road in the urban area of Deyang City. An accident occurred during the closed construction of the pedestrian overpass under construction, resulting in the death of 1 construction worker after rescue efforts were unsuccessful, 1 injured and admitted to the hospital for treatment with stable vital signs, and 1 trapped worker is actively rescued.
After the accident, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government attached great importance to it, and immediately organized emergency, housing construction, public security, firefighting, medical and other professional forces to rush to the scene for rescue.
Currently, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
