Relegated from Top 14 in the spring after a nightmarish season, punctuated by 26 defeats in as many outings, Agen has still not won at the lower level after the first six days.

A black series which had pushed Agen president Jean-François Fonteneau at the end of September to appeal, as a consultant, to a history of the club, Christophe Deylaud, in order to provoke an "electric shock".
