After Nord Stream 2, no more leaks from the Nord Stream 1 pipeline in the Baltic Sea.
This is stated by the Danish authorities.
The operator of the Nord Stream 1 underwater pipeline, Nord Stream Ag, confirmed that the pressure in the pipeline has stabilized, adding that this indicates that there is no more gas leakage.
The agency had already announced on Saturday that gas has stopped leaking from the Nord Stream 2 underwater pipeline.
A total of four leaks - two in Danish waters and two in Swedish waters - were detected in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines since the early hours of Monday. Of the two pipelines, the first transported Russian gas to Europe via the Baltic Sea and Germany. , in gradually lower quantities in recent months until it was interrupted at the beginning of September with what appeared to be pretexts (impossibility of carrying out maintenance due to European sanctions).
The Nord Stream 2, on the other hand, has never pumped gas to Europe, which was stopped by the sanctions against Russia for the invasion of Ukraine.
At least two explosions had occurred underwater, Denmark and Sweden said in a letter dated Thursday.
The seismological institutes measured a magnitude of 2.3 and 2.1, which "probably corresponds to an explosive charge of several hundred kilograms".
Swedish authorities had already reported on Saturday that the amount of gas leaking from pipelines was decreasing.
