Hamburg (dpa / lno) - At a demonstration under the motto “Walk of Shame” this afternoon (3:00 p.m.), various initiatives in the St. Pauli district want to protest against planned new building projects and displacement.

According to the police, around 200 people are expected.

The organizers announced on Friday that they would follow the “trail of the money” and start projects that were criticized by them.

Above all, they named the location for the planned new building project Paulihaus on the Rindermarkthalle and the Sternbrücke, which the Hamburg Senate wants to replace, as goals.

The protest march is organized by the initiative «St.

Pauli Code Now! »

and the platform «St.

Make Pauli yourself ».

Your call for a different urban development policy is: "For a colorful cityscape and the preservation of cultural sites!"
