According to Mizintsev, without the participation of the Ukrainian side, more than 5.4 thousand people, including over 1.1 thousand children, were evacuated from dangerous zones in various regions of Ukraine, the LPR and the DPR during the day.
“In total, more than 179 thousand people have already been evacuated since the beginning of the special military operation, of which 45,436 are children,” he said.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry called on Ukraine to ensure the safe passage of civilians along the gum corridors.
