UAE wins two positions in the Federation

The UAE won the positions of President and Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chemists, led by the President of the UAE Chemical Society, Moza Saif Matar Al Shamsi, who was chosen as the Secretary-General of the Union.

This came at the conclusion of the general meetings of the 40th session of the Supreme Council of the Union of Arab Chemists, which was held at the Fazaa pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Moza Al Shamsi said, "This achievement is a distinguished Arab appreciation for the global Emirati cultural achievement in various fields, foremost of which is the interest of our leadership in science, scholars and innovation."

For his part, the President of the Saudi Society of Chemists, Professor Zaid Al-Othman, thanked the participating member associations and unions from all Arab countries, expressing his happiness for hosting the meeting at the center of the "Expo Dubai", the unique global event in the region.

More than 30 professors, doctors and specialists in chemistry from 17 Arab chemical associations and unions participated in the meetings, during which the projects of all associations and unions, their future plans and what was accomplished during the last period were discussed and reviewed.
