Daniel Radcliffe says what he thinks of Wolverine

Since Hugh Jackman laid the claws, many Wolverine fans have wanted Daniel Radcliffe to reprise the role of the famous member of the X-Men.

"So many times people have come up to me and said, 'Hey man, I heard the news about Wolverine.

It's super cool."

And I'm like, 'Man, there's nothing cool, I don't know anything about that,'" the actor told Comicbook.com on his way to the premiere of his new movie. ,

, on the sidelines of the South by Southwest festival which was held in Austin this week.

Because if it is true that the face of Daniel Radcliffe could perfectly correspond to the character, he considers that his build is not suitable.

But while being unenthusiastic about playing the character, the star of the

franchise readily admits he fits the bill.

The right build

"Someone might say, 'Actually, Wolverine is short in the comics, so you should get a short guy to do it!'

But I don't see myself doing it, I don't see them going from Hugh Jackman to me.

But who knows?

Prove me wrong, Marvel,” Daniel Radcliffe continued.

Indeed, the actor measures just 1.65 meters while Hugh Jackman culminates at 1.88 meters!

But before casting a new Wolverine, should the studios still relaunch the

franchise  which, for the moment, does not seem to be one of the priorities.
