French sprinter Arnaud Démare (Groupama-FDJ) won the Italian semi-classic Milan-Turin on Wednesday, contested over 189 kilometers between Lombardy and Piedmont, in northern Italy.
Well launched by his team-mates, Démare clearly won ahead of the Australian Caleb Ewan, the Belgian Wout Van Aert and the Slovakian Peter Sagan.
The Frenchman sent a positive signal before Saturday and Milan-Sanremo, classic he won in 2016.
