New health restrictions.

Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on Thursday the establishment of a curfew from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Friday evening for "54 departments in total as well as an overseas territory", or for "46 million of French ".

The Prime Minister announced the passage under curfew of 38 new departments and also for all the departments of which until now only the big cities were concerned, as well as Polynesia.

"The curfew will apply from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. throughout the territory of the departments concerned and, normally, for a period of six weeks," he added.

The police have carried out since last Saturday "32,033 checks and pronounced 4,777 verbalizations for non-compliance with the curfew", reported Thursday Jean Castex during a press conference on the Covid-19 epidemic.
