Éric Arella, the zonal director of the judicial police in Marseille, was dismissed by the director general of the national police Frédéric Veaux to join the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) from Monday 10 next October.

He will be replaced by Dominique Abbenanti.

The director general of the national police Frédéric Veaux has dismissed Éric Arella, the zonal director of the PJ in Marseille, a position he has held since 2015. Éric Arella will join the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) from next Monday, October 10.

Dominique Abbenanti, hitherto internal security attaché in Algiers, will replace him.

He previously held a number of positions in the judicial field, in particular as deputy director of the technical and scientific police (PTS) and also several times head of the PJ branch.
