Data relating to the spread of Covid-19 in Italy provided by the Civil Protection.

The total number of people who contracted the virus was 233,836, an increase of 321 new cases compared to yesterday.

The total number of currently positive is 39,297, with a decrease of 596 patients compared to yesterday.

Among the currently positive, 353 are undergoing intensive care, with a decrease of 55 patients compared to yesterday.

5,742 people are hospitalized with symptoms, a decrease of 174 patients compared to yesterday.

33,202 people, equal to 84% of the currently positive, are in isolation without symptoms or with mild symptoms.

Compared to yesterday, 71 died and bring the total to 33,601. The total number of those discharged and healed rises to 160,938, an increase of 846 people compared to yesterday.

In detail, there are currently 20,224 positive cases in Lombardy, 4,686 in Piedmont, 2,839 in Emilia-Romagna, 1,387 in Veneto, 973 in Tuscany, 514 in Liguria, 2,818 in Lazio, 1,310 in the Marche, 869 in Campania, 1,036 in Puglia, 222 in the Autonomous Province of Trento, 880 in Sicily, 233 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 736 in Abruzzo, 120 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, 31 in Umbria, 146 in Sardinia, 13 in Valle d'Aosta, 110 in Calabria, 127 in Molise and 23 in Basilicata.
