Mainz (dpa / lrs) - The Rhineland-Palatinate Council of Ministers wants to pass the new Corona Control Ordinance today (from 4 p.m.).

The measures are expected to take effect on December 1st.

The currently still valid twelfth Corona Control Ordinance expires on November 30th.

Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the heads of government of the federal states, including Prime Minister Malu Dreyer, decided on Wednesday in a joint switch to extend and tighten the partial lockdown until December 20.

Since then, the various departments of the state government and the municipalities have discussed the implementation of the measures.
