While partial unemployment now affects more than 12 million workers, should we expect an explosion in the number of job seekers after the coronavirus crisis? The government is worried about possible massive layoffs in whole swathes of the French economy in the coming months. Invited Thursday of Europe 1, Laurent Berger, general secretary of the CFDT, shares this concern, and warns: "There is a big problem on the job which is looming".
