The total number of corona infections reported in Germany has risen to over three million.
According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Monday, there is evidence that
3,011,513
people in Germany have been infected with the virus
.
The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher since many infections are not detected.
The first confirmed infection was announced on January 27, 2020.
The RKI
stated the
number of those who had
recovered
at
around
2,683,900
.
The total number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to

The day before, the RKI gave the seven-day incidence at 129.2, a week ago it was 128. The incidence value is currently to be treated with caution and is likely to be too low due to fewer tests and reports over Easter.
The RKI expects the value to be reliable again in the course of the coming week.
According to the RKI situation report on Sunday, the
nationwide
seven-day R-value
was 1.08 (previous day: 1.02).
This means that 100 infected people theoretically infect 108 more people.
The RKI writes that the R-value has risen further.
The drop in value observed in the days after Easter could have been due to the temporarily lower number of tests.
According to the RKI, the R-value can only be meaningfully evaluated again in a few days.
