The contract of French star Clien Mbappe, the top scorer of Paris Saint-Germain, expires at the end of the current season, without deciding yet whether he will accept the signing of a new contract or whether he will travel to the Spanish capital for free to play for Real Madrid.
But the word “free” does not mean that the “Royal” won a star with a market value of 160 million euros for free, after the Royal Club had offered last summer an amount of 200 million euros to Saint-Germain for his services.
The Parisian team is still hoping to persuade Mbappe to stay in the "Park of the Princes" after he presented him with an amazing offer on the condition that he play with him for another two years with the option of extending for a third year, and then the young star may reap about 300 million euros between the new signing bonus and the annual salaries.
And in mid-March, after Paris Saint-Germain was excluded from the Champions League at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid presented Mbappe’s lawyer, 23, the fourth and final official offer to join the French international for 180 million euros (signing bonus) and a salary of 40 million euros and 50 % of profits from his image rights over a period of 6 years, according to the Spanish newspaper "El Pais".
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Mbappe's transfer to Real Madrid has become questionable, due to the image rights clause, which allows the player to enjoy 50% of the image rights only.
The newspaper added that for this reason, the negotiation process over the transfer of Mbappe to Real suddenly stopped, given that Saint-Germain offers the player a renewal offer with a very high salary, in addition to obtaining 100% of the management of his image rights.
