On May 7, local time, the Chinese Embassy in Serbia held a tribute event in front of the bombed embassy site to remember the martyrs Shao Yunhuan, Xu Xinghu, and Zhu Ying who died in the NATO bombing 22 years ago.
Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Security Tpavčević, who attended the event, said, “Today we are here to mourn the Chinese journalists who died in the barbaric NATO aggression. Thank the Chinese people for standing with us at the most difficult moment in Serbia. Together, whenever Serbia encounters difficulties and challenges, China will give us support and help."
