Colombia today received 3.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine donated by the US government, Colombian President Ivan Duque tweeted.

Vaccines developed by AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sinovac and Janssen are used to immunize the population in the country.

Earlier, Duque said that the first case of the "delta" strain of COVID-19 coronavirus infection was detected in the country.
