“The agreement with NASA is a bet on our women, since the Artemis program aims to send the first woman to the moon, possibly as part of the 2024 mission, and then during the mission to Mars, and we want to see Colombian women in this group,” leads TASS message from the press service of Colombian Vice President Marta Lucia Ramirez.
Earlier it was reported that NASA was forced to postpone the mission to land astronauts on the moon due to delays in the program to develop new spacesuits.
According to the department’s schedule, they were supposed to be ready by November 2024, however, due to identified problems, the provision of spacesuits is postponed by at least 20 months.
