According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, yesterday, gusts of magnitude 7 to 8 occurred in eastern Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, central and western Inner Mongolia, and western Northeast China, and 9 to 10 in eastern Xinjiang and central and western Inner Mongolia. Grade; sand blowing occurs in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia.

At 5 o'clock today, compared with 5 o'clock yesterday, 4 to 8 degrees Celsius dropped in northern Xinjiang and western southern Xinjiang, Gansu, northern Qinghai, and western Inner Mongolia.

  This morning, heavy fog appeared in parts of central and northern Shaanxi, southwestern Shanxi, southwestern Henan, central and southern Sichuan Basin, and western Guizhou, and local visibility was less than 200 meters.

Key weather forecast

Cold air continues to affect northern China

  It is expected that from 08:00 on October 31st to 08:00 on November 2nd, due to the influence of moderate-intensity cold air, the average temperature in most parts of North China, most of Northeast China, northern Huanghuai and other places will drop by 4 to 8°C. Inner Mongolia The eastern part can reach above 10℃.

Some areas mentioned above are accompanied by winds of magnitude 4 to 6, and gusts of magnitude 7 to 9 (see Figure 1).

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue forecasts of strong winds and temperature drops at 06:00 on October 31.

On the 31st, affected by the cold air, there were dusty weather in central Inner Mongolia and northern North China.

Local blizzard in northeastern Inner Mongolia and northwest of Heilongjiang

  Affected by the low vortex system and cold air, in the next three days, there will be moderate to heavy snow and local blizzards in northeastern Inner Mongolia and northwest Heilongjiang.

The depth of new snow in the above-mentioned areas can reach 10 cm, and the depth of the local area is 20 cm.

Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on October 31 to 08:00 on November 1, there was light snow or sleet in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northwest Heilongjiang, and southern Gansu. Among them, there was light snow or sleet in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia and northwest Heilongjiang. To heavy snow, local blizzard (10-15 mm).

Light to moderate rain (10-20 mm) occurred in most parts of Northeast China, western Jianghuai, Jianghan, northwestern Jiangnan, most of southwestern China, and southeastern Tibet.

Most areas of Inner Mongolia, most of Northeast China, northern China, Shandong Peninsula, and central and western Tibet have winds of force 4 to 6 (see Figure 2).

  From 08:00 on November 1st to 08:00 on November 2, parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Heilongjiang, southeastern Qinghai, southwestern Gansu, and western Tibet had light to moderate snow or sleet, and local heavy snow ( 5~6mm).

There was light to moderate rain in parts of southern Jianghuai, northern and western Jiangnan, most of southwestern China, western Guangxi, eastern Tibet and other places. Among them, there was heavy rain (25-35 mm) in northwestern Yunnan.

Most areas of Inner Mongolia, most of Northeast China, northern North China, western Huanghuai, Shandong Peninsula and other places have 4-6 winds (see Figure 3).

  From 08:00 on November 2 to 08:00 on the 3rd, there was light snow or sleet in parts of the northeast of Inner Mongolia, the east and north of the northeast, the middle and east of the northwest, the north of the western Sichuan Plateau, the northeast and the west of Tibet, etc. There is moderate to heavy snow (5-8mm).

There was light to moderate rain in parts of the western Jiangnan, the southwestern region, the western Guangxi, and the eastern Tibet, and local heavy rain (25-40 mm).

There are 4 to 6 winds in parts of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, most of the northeast, northern China, and Shandong Peninsula (see Figure 4).

The central waters of the South China Sea will have rotating winds of magnitude 8-10 and gusts of magnitude 11-12. The nearby sea area where the center of typhoon "Swan" passes can reach winds of magnitude 11-12 and gusts of magnitude 13-14.

There will be northeast winds of magnitude 6 to 8 and gusts of magnitude 9 in the Taiwan Strait and the northeastern part of the South China Sea.
