, the gendarmes of this town located north of Dieppe will say no more.

It was the Dieppe research brigade that was seized of the investigations.

Nearly 13 kilos of drugs recovered in November 2019

In November 2019, the authorities had multiplied the alert messages concerning bales, the size of a shoebox and wrapped in cellophane to be airtight, which had been found on the beaches of an area from Saint-Jean -de-Luz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) to Camaret (Finistère).

Last November, a dozen cocaine loaves were recovered in less than a week in Pas-de-Calais, stranded on the beaches between Cap Gris-Nez and Ambleteuse.

A quantity far from negligible since it represented nearly 13 kg of drugs for an amount for resale on the illicit market estimated at more than half a million euros.

According to the Minister of the Interior, 23 tons of cocaine were seized by the police last year in France.
