The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced yesterday the interception and destruction of a number of "booby-trapped" Houthi drones inside Yemeni territories, while the Yemeni army and tribes, backed by the Arab coalition, managed to liberate several locations in Nihm and Al-Jawf in the vicinity of the capital, Sanaa. .
In detail, the spokesman for the coalition forces, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, said that the terrorist Houthi militia launched these aircraft from the capital (Sana'a), where they were intercepted and destroyed inside Yemen, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
This comes at a time when the Yemeni army forces and the tribes supported by the Arab coalition continued their advance on the fronts of the vicinity of the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, and were able to secure the liberated areas on both fronts, “Najd al-Ataq and the Salb Mountains”, one day after the liberation of strategic sites in those areas by the army and the tribes at the expense of The Houthi militia, which incurred casualties.
Field sources stated that the army and tribes forces managed to secure the sites of Al-Alaq, Al-Ramah, Al-Dakhil, Al-Aghar, Al-Dashush, Shanan and Al-Safra, and continued to bomb the militia sites in the vicinity of those sites with the aim of securing them, in addition to the continuation of the battles at the fronts of Al-Jawf Junction on the borders of Ma'rib, Al-Jawf and Sana'a, which is directly connected to the Nehm of Sanaa.
In the capital, Sanaa, local sources confirmed the occurrence of a huge explosion south of the city, believed to be a ballistic missile, which the Houthi militia failed to launch towards civilian areas in Saudi Arabia, noting that ambulances rushed to the area of the explosion in Beit Boss, south of the capital, after the explosion, and imposed a security cordon on the area. What confirms the deaths among the Houthis.
In Al-Jawf, the army and tribes' forces continued their advances in the Sabayegh fronts, Barq al-Khail, the Al-Alam and Al-Nudd region, as part of their extensive operations that they began in the east of Al-Hazm District, the capital of the governorate, on the one hand from the Khub Al-Sha`af District, the largest of the governorate's directorates, amid the flight of Houthi groups in different directions in the Al-Jawf desert.
The sources indicated that the army artillery targeted reinforcements and militia gatherings in separate locations, and the bombing resulted in deaths and injuries from the militias and the destruction of combat vehicles and equipment, in addition to the recovery of four combat crews with their equipment and other light and medium weapons left by the Houthi militia members in the aforementioned sites.
The violent battles witnessed by the Abraq Khalila front between the two sides, which resulted in the death of 15 Houthis and the injury of others during the past two days, while military sources reported the killing of about 30 Houthis on the Al-Jawf fronts on Thursday and Friday.
In Marib, military sources in the Yemeni army confirmed the fall of more than 17 Houthi deaths, including prominent field leaders, in the battles on the fronts of Hailan, Al-Mukhdara and Al-Mushajeh, west of the governorate, confirming the death of the Houthi leader, Muhammad Lotf Al-Shami, and the leader Ali Muhammad Nasser Al-Washli, who holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel In addition to the Houthi leader, Captain Muhammad Mutahar Abu Haila, the Houthi leader Muhammad Ali Zaid Al-Moayad, Ahmed Abdo Al-Dailami, and the militia's preventive security official, Akram Nabil Muhammad Al-Hakami.
In Al-Bayda, battles continued on the Qifah and Qana fronts between the local resistance and the tribes on one side and the Houthi militia on the other hand, concentrated on the fronts of Hama al-Qah, Hama Awaja, Hamidah, Shatir and Safal al-Najd, all of which are areas of contact between the two sides, leaving dead and wounded among the Houthis.
In Taiz, local sources in the Sha'ab Al-Rawanah district in the north of the governorate confirmed the occurrence of violent clashes between the armed residents of the region and the Houthi militia members as part of a popular uprising that the directorate witnessed yesterday against the Houthis, during which the people of the region managed to control all government facilities in the district and expelled the Houthi supervisor, Ali Al-Qurashi. The sources indicated that the uprising came after the Houthi militia killed one of the directorate’s sons in a hideous way.
In Hodeidah, the joint forces managed to achieve direct casualties deep in the Houthi militia sites in the vicinity of Al-Duraihimi, after the Houthi militia bombed residential villages and farms in the southwest of Al-Durayhimi far from any military target.
Military sources talked about the killing of 30 Houthis in Al-Jawf last Thursday and Friday.
