CNN: CIA chief visits Ukraine and meets with Zelensky

CIA Director William Burns met with Zelensky during a previously scheduled trip last week.

As noted, the main topic of the talks was "risk assessments faced by Ukraine", as well as "concerns about the invasion of Russia."

Earlier, CNN, citing a source in the US administration, published an article stating that Russia was allegedly preparing a provocation in the Donbass to “create a pretext for invading eastern Ukraine.”

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called this statement unfounded and unconfirmed.

In November, Peskov said that Russia was not going to attack anyone.
