For almost 1,000 years, people have gathered for worship in Brännkyrka church in Älvsjö. In connection with Sunday's church election, the congregation wants to highlight its roots by organizing a medieval party where visitors can meet knights, wizards and jokers while they vote.
- When we celebrated the 500th anniversary of the Battle of Brännkyrka a few years ago, we held a medieval-inspired mass and then the idea was born to arrange a medieval day, Tore Skytén who is a priest in Brännkyrka parish.
