Since the introduction of basketball to China in 1895, Chinese basketball has experienced 127 years of magnificent development.
In order to inherit the century-old history of Chinese basketball, strengthen the construction of Chinese basketball culture, establish confidence in Chinese basketball culture, and inspire basketball and young people, the Chinese Basketball Association will actively promote the construction of the Chinese Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
At present, all preparatory work are carried out in an orderly manner, and phased results have been achieved.
It is understood that as of now, the Chinese Basketball Association has established a Hall of Fame Committee, and put forward a relatively complete work concept on the core content of the Chinese Basketball Hall of Fame organization, work process and recommendation plan: the Hall of Fame Committee exercises leadership and organizational functions, There is a Nomination Committee, a Selection Committee and a Final Appraisal Committee, which carry out hall admission activities on an annual basis.
