The Chinese company, ZTE, announced the launch of its new Watch Live, a low-cost smart watch, which has a good battery life and includes many functions, including measuring the heart rate.

In order to reduce the cost of the new watch, the company abandoned the GPS unit, Wi-Fi connection, and mobile phone connections. Therefore, the watch depends on the smartphone associated with it via Bluetooth 4.2 technology.

The watch can be used to show notifications from the paired smartphone, control the camera, or play music, and the smart watch can alert the user in the event of inactivity and physical inactivity, in addition to monitoring sleep time and quality. The company is promoting its watch with the ability of the heart rate sensor to measure oxygen saturation in the blood, as well as its resistance to water splashes according to the standard of IP68. ZTE did not announce any data regarding when the watch will be put on the market or its prices in the Arab region.
