  Tianhui-1 04 was developed by the Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd. of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and is mainly used for scientific experiment research, land and resources survey, map surveying and mapping and other tasks.

  In this launch, the Long March 2D carrier rocket used a new integrated ground measurement and launch system for the first time in Jiuquan. This system can meet the test and launch requirements of various rocket technical states of the Long March 2D and Long March 4 series of carrier rockets. The features of miniaturization, automation and unattended operation effectively simplify the configuration of the ground measurement and transmission system, and combine with the continuously optimized measurement and transmission process to improve work efficiency.

  The Long March ⅡD carrier rocket is a normal temperature liquid two-stage carrier rocket developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It has a take-off thrust of 300 tons and a carrying capacity of 1.2 tons corresponding to a 700-km sun-synchronous circular orbit. It has different orbital requirements. Single-satellite and multi-satellite launch capabilities.

  This mission is the 54th launch of the Long March 2D carrier rocket and the 381th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
