On September 12, Nanning, Guangxi, at the 18th China-ASEAN Expo that is being held, Chinese companies exhibited independently developed third-generation nuclear power technology. The staff introduced the principles and characteristics of the technology in detail. It has a separate reactor plant. Advanced and mature technologies such as double-layer containment and isolation of three entities are capable of responding to similar situations in the Fukushima nuclear accident.
At present, the second phase of the Fangchenggang nuclear power project in Guangxi uses the third-generation nuclear power technology with completely independent intellectual property rights in China.
