The Cameroonian team has almost guaranteed its qualification for the next Women's African Cup of Nations (CAN 2022), this February 18, 2022. The Cameroonians beat the Gambians 8-0, in the last round of the playoffs.

The Tunisians, they dominated the Equatorial Guineans 5-0.

Except cataclysm, the teams of Cameroon, Tunisia, Burundi and Burkina Faso will play the next Women's African Cup of Nations football, scheduled from July 2 to 23, alongside Morocco (host country) and Uganda.

Like the Burundians and the Burkinabè, clear winners on February 16, the Cameroonians and the Tunisians crushed their opponents in the last round of the playoffs.

The Indomitable Lionesses dominated The Gambia 8-0, while the Tunisians swept the ambitious Equatorial Guineans 5-0 on February 18, 2022.

Ivory Coast and Algeria in danger

On the other hand, things are off to a bad start for Algeria and Côte d'Ivoire.

The Algerians lost 2-0 in South Africa, while the Ivorians lost by the same score in Nigeria.

It must be said that South Africans and Nigerians are among the very best teams on the continent.

For the Vertes and the Elephants, it will therefore be necessary to reverse the trend during the return match (between February 21 and 23).

A second act which also promises to be particularly undecided between Mali and Senegal (0-1 one way) on the one hand, and between Gabon and Togo (1-2 one way) on the other.
