Dortmund (AP) - Borussia Dortmund was the last German team eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Bundesliga club also lost their home game against Manchester City 1: 2 (1: 0) on Wednesday evening.

BVB had already lost the first leg with 1: 2.

Judge Bellingham had given BVB hope with his goal in the 15th minute.

At 17 years, 9 months and 16 days, the Englishman advanced to become the youngest Champions League scorer of the Westphalian Bundesliga club.

But the converted hand penalty by Riyad Mahrez (55th) and the goal by Phil Foden (75th) in the empty Signal Iduna Park saved the guests.
