After purchasing a subscription account, the police arrested a gang who illegally acquired and sold 88 apartment pre-sale rights using methods such as disguised transfers and undercover marriages.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Financial Crimes Investigation Unit announced that they had arrested 6 brokers with fraudulent subscriptions and 95 people who transferred subscription accounts in exchange for money.

Brokers are accused of approaching people with financial difficulties and giving them 3 million to 100 million won to receive subscription accounts.

In this process, they used methods such as disguised transfer and disguised marriage, but they also aimed for a special supply system for defectors from North Korea, where the competition rate is relatively low.

After that, when the apartment pre-sale rights were won, they were immediately sold back, but it was found that they had them write false borrowing certificates and promissory notes to prevent the holders of the subscription book from changing their minds.

It has been found that the apartment sales rights they have acquired illegally are evenly distributed throughout the country, including Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Incheon.

The police plan to immediately notify the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the illegally won apartment sale right.
