"The driver, probably the victim of an illness, unfortunately died. We deplore 19 minor injuries, including a child," a spokesperson for the Paris fire department told AFP, adding that the accident occurred in the middle of morning.

No casualties inside the building
An AFP journalist on the spot noted that the coach had knocked down a tree and a candelabrum before crashing into a building, not far from the Paris judicial court, in the 17th arrondissement of the capital.
The passengers on the coach were members of a religious community, said the spokesperson for the Paris fire department.

There were no casualties in the building where the coach ended its journey.
