  On the same day, the cooperation network of non-governmental organizations along the Silk Road (referred to as the "cooperative network") united the Hubei Provincial Government Foreign Affairs Office, the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, the Chinese Civil Organization International Exchange Promotion Association, the Beijing Pinglan Charity Foundation and other friendly provinces in Hubei Province Rio Grande do Sul State co-hosted an online exchange and sharing meeting on epidemic prevention and control between China and Brazil civil organizations.

  As sister provinces and states, Hubei and Rio Grande do Sul actively cooperated during the epidemic. Chen Tao, deputy director of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, said that he hoped that by sharing China’s experience in fighting the epidemic, he would help Brazilian friends overcome the epidemic as soon as possible and return to a normal life.

  In the theme sharing, Chen Tao gave a detailed introduction from the characteristics of the new coronavirus, epidemic characteristics and precautions during the epidemic. He particularly emphasized that prevention is more important in the prevention and treatment of new coronary pneumonia.

  As the front line of the "war epidemic", the community of Qiliyi Village, Qinduankou Street, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province has accumulated a lot of community management experience during the epidemic. Community leader Sun Ruihua gave a detailed introduction at the exchange meeting from three aspects: publicizing anti-epidemic knowledge, standardizing work procedures, and organizing volunteer services.

  In her concluding speech, Erita Bergman said that today’s event convinced us that the current measures implemented by Rio Grande do Sul are correct. The number of infected people in Rio Grande do Sul is increasing, and there are still some difficulties in carrying out nucleic acid testing. Although the current overall situation is not optimistic, we believe that understanding China's successful experience in fighting the epidemic can help us better overcome this epidemic.

  In his concluding speech, Li Xiangdong, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Hubei Provincial Health Committee and Director of the Office of the Provincial Party Committee Health Committee, further introduced Wuhan’s anti-epidemic experience, and said that at present, what we need most is unity and cooperation to overcome the difficulties together. The friendly exchanges between all walks of life in Brazil and Hubei Province have a long history. We are willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all parties in Brazil, work together to win this battle against major infectious diseases and build a human health community.
