Another twist on the Bolivian political scene: after the elections last week, which saw the candidate of the Movement towards Socialism win hands down, the former head of state Evo Morales, exiled in Argentina, does not is no longer pursued by the Bolivian courts and will therefore be able to return to his country.

The arrest warrant against Evo Morales was canceled Monday, October 26 by the Bolivian justice.

Last November, when Evo Morales left the country, a phone conversation filtered through social networks.

There, we hear an executive coca producer talking with what appears to be Evo Morales.

The two interlocutors discuss the organization of blockades and sieges of cities, so that food does not enter, among other things.

The ex-president, then outside the country, was therefore accused of terrorism.

But he would not have been personally notified by the Bolivian courts at the various hearings of the case, and so the charge was completely abandoned and the arrest warrant canceled.

Without notification, his right to defense was violated.

But in reality the question of the independence of justice arises because a new president has just been elected, he belongs to the party of Evo Morales.

The latter will therefore be able to return to Bolivian territory without being worried.
